But badminton is?

Simple. Tiger Woods isn’t the world’s greatest athlete. Not by a long shot.

Any of these Olympians are better than him.

I’m not a golfer, but I’m sponsoring a tee to help a good cause. I need to come up with a tee game (?) where I can have golfers earn raffle tickets for my prize drawing. I am a travel agent, and my prize is a trip, so it would be especially helpful if the game could have a travel theme. I have zero ideas here, so please help me (and the charity) out.
Thanks!
Apparently, my question needs further details. There is a charity golf event, and businesses donate money to sponsor tees. At the tee, you are supposed to have some sort of game for the golfers. I need someone to please suggest some sort of game that I can have at my tee. Like I said, I’m not a golfer, but I’m told this is a common thing. I am giving away a prize at my tee by means of a drawing. I would like to have a game where the golfer can earn tickets (i.e. entries) into the raffle. And, since I’m a travel agent giving away a trip at this tee, it would be especially helpful if this tee game had a travel theme. I really appreciate any suggestions you might have. I apologize for my inexperience with charity golf tournaments and if my previous question was not clear, but a mere ‘?’ response is neither helpful nor necessary. Thanks for your time!

Well, the most common games are longest drive (typically on a par 5) or closest to the hole (on a par 3). I don’t know about the hole that you are sponsoring, but a favorite tee game around here is "closest to the water without getting wet". Of course, this requires a hole with a water hazard (pond or stream) that is close to the tee shot landing zone.

Another game is to have a small (say 6′ diameter) circle about 250 yards from the tee box, then closest one to the circle (or in the circle) wins the prize.

Have fun, and I hope your charity does well.

There are 4 major golf tournaments a year (a.k.a. majors). It is still a PGA tour event that PGA players play in, but they have bigger purses, and all the good golfers make a point to be there. Winning a major is a much greater achievement that just an regular PGA event, every golfers dream is to win at least one in they’re career.

as opposed to other tournaments.

there are four majors in the world of golf. The Masters, the U.S open, the British open and the PGA championship. A major is the ultimate test of a golfers skills and talents. The courses are set-up extremely difficult (ie. fairways narrowed, greens incredibly fast, hard pin positions) and only the top 150 players in the world ranking are invited unless they are granted an exemption for some reason or another. For example, you may have won a previous major, or you may have placed top-10 in a major, you may be an amateur, etc.. To win a major championship is usually the highlight of a golfer’s career. It is incredibly difficult to do and will set you apart from everyone else for the rest of your life.
