Jesus and St. Peter play golfgive me a star if u like it?
one day Jesus and St. Peter decide to play golf while.Jesus tees of he asks St. Peter what club he thinks he should. St. Peter says "with all do respect Lord its a rather long hole I think you should use a driver". Jesus says "oh no, I saw Arnold Palmer make this same shot in this same hole with a sand wedge in 1945" so Jesus swings and he hits the ball right into the water. So jesus dosnt want to get a new ball him being jesus christ and all so he decides to pull a mulligan and he walks on the water to hit the ball when he asks St. Peterwhat club he thinks he should use and St. Peter says with all due respect lord i think you should use a sand wedge. But Jesus says oh, no I saw Arnold Palmer make this same shot on this same course on this same hole in 1945 with a driver. so jesus takes out his club swings & once agian hits the ball into the water. by now the next group of players have come & they ask St. Pete" who doesthis guy think he is jesus c? "naw he thinks hes Arnold Palmer
Cute!

A few tips from an old golfer?
Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle, followed by a good bottle of beer.
Golf! You hit down to make the ball go up. You swing left and the ball goes right. The lowest score wins. And on top of that, the winner buys the drinks
Golf is harder than baseball. In golf, you have to play your foul balls.
If you find you do not mind playing golf in the rain, the snow, even during a hurricane, here’s a valuable tip: your life is in trouble.
Golfers who try to make everything perfect before taking the shot rarely make a perfect shot.
The term ‘mulligan’ is really a contraction of the phrase ‘maul it again.’
A ‘gimme’ can best be defined as an agreement between two golfers … neither of whom can putt very well.
An interesting thing about golf is that no matter how badly you play; it is always possible to get worse.
Golf’s a hard game to figure. One day you’ll go out and slice it and shank it, hit into all the traps and miss every green. The next day you go out and for no reason at all you really stink.
If your best shots are the practice swing and the ‘gimme putt’, you might wish to reconsider this game.
Golf is the only sport where the most feared opponent is you.
Golf is like marriage: If you take yourself too seriously it won’t work , and both are expensive.
The best wood in most amateurs’ bags is the pencil.
Oh I am sure GB that you have had many holes in one.
Hey have you moved to America and not told me.

I shot a 39 at age 15…?
I was out golfing today with my friend and i shot a 39. We played from the second hardest tees (the tips are only like 70 yards further) and i did no mulligans because i cant do that during meets. Anyway, what are my chances of going pro?
i shot 35 and i"m 14, so to be brutally honest, its not that special.
Is this a good score?
I asked this same question two months ago when I first started playing golf. I just got done playing 9 holes at my local golf course (Morro Bay, 69.5/116) and shot a 39 during a practice round. In which I took 2-3 drives per hole, and used a few mulligans, but never gave myself a stroke (for example, if I missed a 10 foot putt by an inch I would still count the 1 inch putt as a stroke).
2 months ago I shot a 50 when I posted this exact question. So I want to know if that was a good score and how well I’m progessing.
Here are some other notes too:
——————————————-
I drive 260-280 yds, before I drove the ball on average 170-200 yds
I rarely 3 putt anymore.
And my chipping and iron game is MUCH, MUCH better.
At its most basic, YES… you are playing better. You shot 50 two months ago, and now shot 11 strokes better! I’m guessing that par for nine holes is 36, so you shot +3 — a very nice score.
The big key to this question is why did this happen, and what steps have you taken to improve your game? I think you’ve taken great steps to improve your game — specifically, you’re improving from the green back.
Starting with putting: In a 9-hole round of golf, averaging 2 putts a hole, you could take 18 shots just on the green… about half your strokes! 3-putting can waste up to 9 additional shots. By not 3-putting you’ve made HUGE progress.
Chipping: For a beginning to intermediate golfer, chips are normally due to not hitting the green in regulation, so a chip can mean the difference between an easy putt for par, or fighting to make bogey. Chipping close can mean only one putt and an easy par save!
Bottom line… the nice long game and drives are great! It’s a great confidence boost to blast a beautiful drive way out into the fairway. But since over 50% of your strokes will be from 120 yards and in, it makes sense to devote a good period of time to getting strong in these areas.
And I think your game is showing that!
Why is it called cheating?
Cheating is when you look over someone’s shoulder for a test answer, or when you take too many mulligans on the golf course. Infidelity isn’t such a bad thing. who says monogamy is the best way to go anyway?
My guess is that you have never been cheated on. I think that Monogamy is the best way to go. You can not have your cake and eat it 2. A relationship is based on love and trust and when you cheat the trust gores right out the window fallowed by love.
Is this answer correct for this physics question?
While golfing this past weekend, Cole hit a nine iron straight up into the air. Cole had 4 seconds to contemplate using a Mulligan
before the ball landed at his feet. As any good physics student would, he grabbed the scorecard and pencil and quickly calculated
the height his ball reached. What should have been his result?
answer = 19.6m
is that correct?
Since the ball was in the air for 4 seconds, the velocity can written thus:
At t = 0, the ball has an initial velocity.
At t = 2, the ball has 0 velocity
At t = 4, the ball has negative the initial velocity.
Thus, first find the initial velocity:
Vi = initial velocity
t = time
a = acceleration
Vf = Final velocity
y = vertical displacement
You input 0m/s as the final velocity to find the initial velocity:
Vf = Vi + at
0m/s = Vi – (9.8m/s^2) * 2s
Vi = 19.6m/s
Now using the initial velocity, you can find displacement of the ball after 2s (peak of height):
y = vi * t + .5 at^2
y = 19.6m/s * 2s + .5 (-9.8m/s^2) * (4s)^2
y = 19.6m
Thus, the ball would actually have gone 19.6m in the air.
