Should I bring my kids to a PGA golf tournament?
I’m new to golf and will be going to my first tournament and would like to bring my 2 & 4 years old with me to watch. I know golf is much into etiquette, so is it appropiate to bring kids that young along?
No, you shouldn’t. For one, they’ll be bored. They’ll have no idea what’s going on anyway. Even if the 4 year old likes golf, he won’t like being there. Also, it’s probably not allowed. I forget what major I was looking into (either the Masters or PGA Championship), but they don’t allow young children. They pretty much leave it up to the parents as to what age is acceptable, but if I remember right recommend 7 or older as a starting point. It still depends on the kid though. I’m sure you’d be forced to leave either way if they found your kids to be disruptive.
I don’t mind if you do!!

No, there’s too much idle and "be quiet" time at a golf tournament. Children at those ages aren’t idle or quiet. Maybe in 3 or 4 years.

no you shouldnt because they’d be bored + you r suppose to be quiet and at that age i doubt either one of them could be able to be quiet .. unless you can control them my answer would have to be no.

I wouldn’t risk it. At 4 and 2 they might have crying spells temper tantrums, you wouldn’t be a popular guy out there. hire a babysitter and go enjoy the tournament.

No, please wait until their older and show interest in golf. 11- 12 yrs. old. These golfer are playing for prize money many are trying to make the cut it would not appropriate to potentially distract them by screams or crying children. If the they act up at all you might be asked to leave the course. Get a baby sitter and experience the tournament for yourself, and enjoy.
