What are the advertisments on the golf course hole markers called.?
I need to check into advertising with a few golf courses. Is there an official name for the "hole information" markers on each hole. Is there an official name for the advertisements that are sometimes placed on these markers?

well the advertisements are just called advertisements, and i’m not sure there’s an exact name for the info for the hole

The signs at my golf course usually read "hole sponsored by……….."

These are usually referred to as plaques that describe the hole, its length from the various tee markers and the company, firm or individual who is sponsoring that hole.
